Delightful Living

The Cross family made 8120 East Wood Drive our home on May 8, 2013.  Linnea was finishing 2nd grade and Jackson was wrapping up kindergarten when we moved in.  Since then, we've had an abundance of happy times here.  The house was built in 1980 and we're the third owners to love this home.  As amazing as it was without any changes, it was tired and the list of broken things we 'worked around' had become long (and funny).  Given our love of this home, coupled with our desire to stay here and watch grandchildren play where our children play, we decided to remodel.  It's delightful.  You'll notice "we're remodeling - it's delightful" used multiple times throughout the site because we say it when we're happy about all of this and when we're frustrated.  It both captures the joy we feel and is funny when said in times that aren't so glamorous.  Join us on this adventure - part of why we're doing this is to make the home we love sharing with all of you a more welcoming and comfortable space.
